No dog > no problem!

The Humane Society of  North Central Arkansas will be on site Saturday morning with many adorable and adoptable dogs ready to run at their Pet Fair.

You can literally show up empty handed > pick out a dog > adopt a dog >  jog with that dog  > and take home your new best friend!

Pre-fill and submit your Adoption Application  so you're primed and ready on Saturday morning!

Also, no  dog required!  Come and participate and help out a great cause!

KEEP IN MIND

This will be a first time experience for many of our participants. Read this article on etiquette before the big day!

Divisions & Awards

Divisions will consist of those running with and without their 4 legged friends

Instead of age divisions like a typical 5K, dog size will dictate JWYD divisions.

The 5K will be a timed event and will lead to awards such as:

  • Fastest dog
  • Slowest dog

Also, award categories may include:

  • Longest name
  • Smallest dog participant
  • Largest dog participant
  • Most well traveled dog

Those participating in the Walk will not be eligible for awards based on speed.

1 mILE WALK COURSE

  • The trail is approximately one mile where signs will take you all the way to the pavement to the finish line
  • Course map is provided below
